Local animal shelters modify operations after latest stay-at-home order

Santa Barbara County Animal Services is modifying its operations in response to the latest stay-at-home order.

In-person services are only available with an appointment at the Santa Barbara and Santa Maria shelters.

The Lompoc animal shelter is temporarily closed through Jan. 31.

However, phone lines will stay open for all three shelters with information, resources and appointment scheduling.
